Prayer in W.P.No.7396 of 2023: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue and register sale certificate and to hand over the physical possession of the land comprised in survey No 562 / 1A admeasuring an extent of 25 cents situataed at No. 13, Vellanur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District together with godown and Machineries as stated in the Auction sale Notice dated 29.09.2022 issued by the 1st Respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the writ petitions, the sale certificate has been registered and possession of the residential property has been handed-over to the petitioner. However, the possession of the factory premises has not been handed-over.

3. Learned counsel for the Bank submits that now, an order has been passed under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 on 18.07.2023. Further steps with regard to handing-over the possession of the factory premises shall be done expeditiously.
