Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to rectify the error in classification for the Survey No.685/5, by changing the classification as Ryotwari Punjai from the erroneous classification of Sarkar Punjai for the Plot situate in No.205, bearing Patta No.577, Korattur Village, Ambattur Division, Chennai District, in the computer generation data server in the E-service portal. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to rectify the error in classification for the Survey No.685/5, by changing the classification as Ryotwari Punjai from the erroneous classification of Sarkar Punjai for the Plot situate in No.205, bearing Patta No.577, Korattur Village, Ambattur Division, Chennai District, in the computer generation data server in the E-service portal.

Mr.R.Vigneswaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition, on the consent expressed by the Learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

The case of the petitioner is that, the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property comprised in Survey No.685/5, St.Antony Nagar layout, Old No.61, New No.54, Korattur Village. Initially, the land was owned by one Munusamy Nayakar. Subsequently, the subject land was sub divided and the petitioner purchased the property from the legal heirs of Munusamy Nayakar and the land was sub divided to T.S.No.10/23 from the larger extent in Old Survey No.685/5. Thereafter, the said land was regularized by the Greater Chennai Corporation dated 16.09.2021 and the patta was also issued in favour of the petitioner in Patta No.363. However, the patta was not uploaded in the website to enable the petitioner to download the patta. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent dated 09.10.2021 requesting to upload the copy of the patta in the website. However, till date, no order has been passed on the same. Hence, this present petition is filed. 4.
Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2021 and may pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate has no objection for said order being passed.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.10.2021 and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
