Heard Mr. Krishnasamy Chinnasamy, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. V.Ravi, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First Respondent, Mr. K.Karthikeyan, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Second and Third Respondents and Mr. J.Subbiah, Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the Fourth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.
The grievance ventilated by the Petitioner is that he had made a representation dated 13.02.2024 to the Respondents to allow him and his group to free access for worship and allow the Angalamman Veedhi Ula to his street, but as it did not evoke any response, it has necessitated the filing of this Writ Petition.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Second and Third Respondents has produced copy of the Proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 408/2024-1/ Aa1 dated 11.03.2024 issued by the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department of Government of Tamil Nadu in which the Petitioner has been informed to make an application under Section 63(e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, before the jurisdictional Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department for the relief claimed in this Writ Petition. 4.
In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner would make necessary application before the jurisdictional Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. If such application is made by the Petitioner, the jurisdictional Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department shall duly consider the same on merits and in accordance with law. It is needless to add here that no view has been expressed by this Court on the merits of the controversy involved in the matter. 3/5
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
