This writ petition is filed to issue a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned Notification of the first respondent herein in G.O.Ms.No.112, Energy (C1) Department dated 24.11.2011, in so far as it relates to the petitioner's land is concerned in an extent of 0.10.5 hectares in Survey No.60/4 and in an extent of 0.54.0 hectares in Survey No.60/12 of Vedal Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and all subsequent proceedings pursuant thereto and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in respect of the very same land, there is a challenge to the award passed in W.P.No.27253 of 2016. Therefore, nothing survives in this Writ Petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
