O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.31678 of 2014 dated 03.12.2014. The said Writ Petition was disposed of by issuing the following direction:

"9. in the light of the above facts, without going into the merits of the

petitioner's contention, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2012 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order and forward the same. Since the petitioner has requested for a personal hearing, the respondent shall afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner prior to passing the order."

2. Pursuant to the direction issued in the Writ Petition, the respondent issued a notice dated 06.02.2015 to the petitioner fixing the date of hearing as 16.02.2015.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that he has appeared for hearing and produced all the documents. But till date, orders have not been passed. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for punishing the respondent for willful disobeying the direction issued by this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that if the hearing has already been concluded, the authority will pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time and prays that some time may

be fixed for passing the orders.

5. In the light of the above submission, there will be a direction to the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application, if not already passed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
