O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents Police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has surveyed his land and laid boundary stones. While so, the accused persons removed the stones laid in the boundaries and threatened the petitioner and his family members and abused them in filthy language. Hence, the petitioner apprehending life threat to him as well as his family https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

members made a representation to the respondents on 23.02.2019. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation of the petitioner, investigation is pending.

4.Heard Mr.C.M.Gunasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Raghavan, Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents Police.

5. This Court without going into the merits of the case directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.02.2019 and conduct enquiry with the counter part and take suitable action on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
