This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction the 5th respondent herein give police protection for protecting the Temple and Idols, belonging to '' Mariyamman Temple'' situated in Chinna Pudur, Azhapuram Village, Salem District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the representation of the petitioner, this Court directs the fifth respondent to conduct enquiry after issuing notice to the sixth respondent and pass appropriate order within a 2/4

period of one week from today.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
