ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.2509 of 2016 filed by the petitioner, by order dated 04.02.2016 has directed the respondent to release the Sale Deed dated 06.02.2015 registered as Doc.No.1763/2015 in Book I, pending on his file, within a period of two weeks, with an endorsement that the release of the document would be subject to further proceedings that may be initiated under the provisions of the Indian Stamp Act.

2.Since the said order of this Court has not been complied with by the respondent, the present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with by the respondent and the document/sale deed has been released by the respondent. The said submission of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent, nothing survives in the present Contempt Petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
