PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the first respondent in pertaining to order into Na.Ka.No.4294/2012-A, dated 04.04.2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to restore the patta of the petitioner company. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Shankar For Respondents for RR1 & 2 : Mr.Richardson Wilson, G.A.

The Writ Petition is heard through video conferencing.

2. When the Writ Petition came up for admission on 12.11.2013, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to 13.11.2013. On

13.11.2013, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was listed on 09.12.2013 and on that day also, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was listed on 02.01.2014 and on that day also, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought for adjournment. Hence, the matter was posted on 17.02.2014, however there was no representation for the petitioner.

3. Today, when the matter is listed, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time. This Writ Petition is pending for the past 8 years without even ordering notice and admission. It shows that the petitioner is not interested to proceed with the Writ Petition any further. Therefore, after 8 years, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
