Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent herein and quash the impugned order in Case No.17222/Enquiry/F/2013, dated 23.08.2013 under Right to Information Act, 2005 issued by the 1st respondent to the petitioner herein and direct him to conduct fresh enquiry to pass orders on merits with strict compliance of Right to Information Act, 2005.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records of the 1st respondent herein and quash the impugned order in Case No.17222/Enquiry/F/2013, dated 23.08.2013 under Right to Information Act, 2005 issued by the 1st respondent to the petitioner herein and direct him to conduct fresh enquiry to pass orders on merits with strict compliance of Right to Information Act, 2005.

2. The order impugned passed by the Tamil Nadu Information Commission dated 06.08.2013 reveals that with regard to item No.6, the appellant sought for the details of appointment by contract. The Public Information Officer has stated that the information sought for had already been provided. On that ground, the appeal filed by the petitioner was closed by the Tamil Nadu Information Commission.

3. However, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the answer and if any other informations are required, it is left open for the petitioner to submit a fresh application under the Right to Information Act, seeking further informations or otherwise in the manner known to law.

4. With this liberty, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
