ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.37058 of 2016, by order dated 24.10.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners seeking promotion as Statistical Inspector in Statistical Department, after getting necessary relaxation in the existing service Rule, and to pass appropriate

orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

2.Now, alleging non-compliance of the said order of this Court, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 01.08.2017 issued by the respondent, submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
