ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order of the Appellate Authority, the learned VIII Judge, Court of Small Causes at Chennai dated 23.04.2024, and passed in RCA No.73 of 2023, confirming the order passed by the XIV Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai dated 15.02.2023, and passed in RCOP No.881 of 2012, and allow the present Civil Revision Petition.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner/Tenant produced a Joint Memo dated 08.04.2025 and submitted that that the respondent/landlord had handed over a Demand Draft dated 04.04.2025, bearing No.313190, drawn on Union Bank, Chennai Kelleys Corner Branch, in favour of Canara Bank Circle Office for a sum of Rs.57,51,174/- being the deposit amount paid in terms of the registered agreement dated 09.03.1983 entered between the parties and pursuant to the same, the petitioner/Tenant has vacated the premises and handed over possession along with the key.
3. The Joint Memo dated 04.04.2025 is taken on file. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, the prayer sought for in this Civil Revision Petition has become infructuous and this Court is inclined to close the petition.
