O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2013 to issue joint patta to the petitioner and the other legal heirs of late Athimoolam with respect to the lands measuring 14 1⁄2 cents comprised in S.No.196/19, Zameen Athur Village, Alathur Taluk, Perambalur District and pass necessary orders within the time.

2.Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation to the 1st respondent as early as on 25.08.2013 for the issuance of joint patta, however, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far. 3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law within a time frame.

4.Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2013 and pass orders, after giving notice to the 2nd respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
