The writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Dharmapuri Region, Dharmapuri/the third respondent herein, to pass orders for granting permission to the petitioner Society to become member of Thrift Co-operative Federation Limited for the purpose of availing loan and offer benefits by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner Society dated 28.11.2014 and reminders, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.When the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous, since the third respondent has already passed an order dated 27.01.2016 rejecting the request of the petitioner by considering the representation dated 28.11.2014 and reminders. Accordingly, when the representation of the petitioner dated 28.11.2014 has been rejected, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to challenge the subsequent order of rejection dated 27.01.2016.
3.In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the correctness of the rejection order dated 27.01.2016.
