PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent with regard to the list of selected candidates for the post of Post Graduate Assistant Teacher, Chemistry wherein the petitioner assigned with Roll No.12PG05230172 was declared not-eligible and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner for the post of Post Graduate Assistant Teacher, Chemistry based on the marks obtained by the petitioner in the written examination and certificate verification treating the M.Sc., Chemical Science degree as equivalent to Chemistry.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 06.02.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. However, at the instance of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'for orders' on 08.02.2024. was listed on 08.02.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. In order to give one more opportunity, the matter stands adjourned to today, i.e., on 09.02.2024.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing at 12.15 pm., none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, it is clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
