By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that she belongs to Scheduled Caste Community and she got admission in S.A. Engineering College, the third respondent herein, in the stream of Electronic and Communication Engineering for the Academic Year 2014-2015, through Anna University and she was directed by the College management to remit a sum of Rs.49,000/- viz. Rs.39,000/- being college fees and Rs.10,000/- being security deposit, and out of the said sum, she has paid a sum of Rs.15,000/- towards tuition fees. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner would claim that she is entitled to get scholarship under the Adhi Dravidar Welfare Scheme of the Government of Tamil Nadu and on account of the some unforeseen difficulties, there was delay in submission of filled in scholarship application before the appropriate authority for getting such scholarship and it was sent through Speed Post on 23.3.2015, to the Under Secretary to Government, Adhi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department. 4.The petitioner would further state that she has to undergo second semester examination and she has to meet out educational expenses and she is hailing from a downtrodden society and economically backward family and she is unable to met out the full expenses unless the second respondent considers her scholarship application. She also sent a reminder on 16.4.2015, and since she has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

5.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents 1 and 2. 6.This Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.3.2015, as well as the reminder dated 16.4.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
