2. These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed seeking
direction directing the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, to accept the guilty memo of the petitioner and receive the fine imposed thereon in connection with C.C.Nos.1750, 1751, 1752 & 1755 of 2016.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
4. The petitioner is an accused in connection with C.C.Nos.1750, 1751, 1752 & 1755 of 2016 on the file of the XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. He is aged about 89 years and has health problems. Therefore, the petitioner was not able to appear before the Trial Court and as such, the Trial Court had issued Non-Bailable Warrant and it is pending. Further, the petitioner wants to plead guilty before the Trial Court and he is also ready to pay the fine to be imposed by the Trial Court.
5. In view of the above, after recalling the Non-Bailable Warrant issued as against the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court and if the petitioner files any petition to plead guilty, the Trial Court is directed to consider the same in accordance with law on the same day and impose fine.
6. With the above directions, these Criminal Original Petitions stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
