ORDER
In one of the hearing of this contempt petition, it is brought to the notice of this Court that though the complaint was received in the concerned Police Station on 09.09.2014 in respect of the occurrence on the same day and though the complaint was registered as FIR, in pursuance of
the order made in Crl.O.P.No.26120 of 2014 dated 23.09.2014, the date of the information received at Police Station is in Column-3B of the FIR in Cr.No.546 of 2015 mentioned as 30.04.2015, the date on which FIR is registered in pursuance of the order of this Court.
2. This Court, on coming to know about the same, directed the concerned respondent Police to take steps to rectify the error.
3. The respondent submitted a report dated 16.06.2015 to the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court to the effect that the complaint dated 09.09.2014 was received in the concerned Police Station, in CSR No.1431 of 2014, at 10.15 a.m. on the same day and the same was, in pursuance of the order, registered as FIR and the date on which the complaint was received in the FIR is wrongly mentioned as 2.00 p.m. on 30.04.2015, in stead of 10.15 a.m. on 09.09.2014.
4. In view of the same, this Court directs that the report dated 16.06.2015 is to form part of the FIR in Cr.No.546 of 2015 for the purpose of ascertaining the correct date on which the complaint was received in the Police Station. The respondent Police is also directed to complete the investigation and file charge sheet, as
expeditiously as possible by not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Contempt Petition is closed. The Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Sriperumbudur.
