By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claiming to be the President of Chromepet Dr.Ambedkar Kudiyiruppore Nala Sangam, has submitted a representation dated 5.3.2015, to the first respondent with copies marked to the District Collector, Kancheepuram, the District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tambaram, the Tahsildar, Alandur, the Commissioner, Pallavaram Municipality and the Inspector of Police, Pallavaram, claiming that they are in possession of the respective lands and also put up thatched sheds and though very may representations have been submitted for grant of patta, they have not been favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents. 4.This Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, permits the petitioner to submit a detailed representation enclosing the relevant particulars, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to the fifth respondent, who, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said application, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting the concerned persons on notice, and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks thereafter and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
