Respondents * * * Prayer : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of declaration declaring the act of second respondent in not allowing the petitioner to attend the interview for the post of counsellor-DRTB- Centre for no fault of the petitioner and on the ground of postal delay as an excuse with further direction to the 2nd respondent to hold the interview and directing the respondent to allow the petitioner to participate in the interview.

With the consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. According to the petitioner, she was issued an interview card directing her to appear for interview at Health and Family Welfare Training Centre, Egmore, Chennai-600 008 on 20.04.2015 at 01.00 p.m, which was issued by the Joint Director of Medical and Rural Health Services (TB) and State Tb Officer. The grievance of the petitioner is that she received the same only on 20.04.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the interview is still going on.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that if the interview is still going on the petitioner may be permitted to participate in the interview, in view of the interview card. It is made clear that if the interview is over, the petitioner cannot make any complaint. In these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for interview on 30.04.2015, if the interview is going on as on today. No costs.
