With the consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The prayer in the writ petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.03.2015 in the light of G.O.Rt.No.229 Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi (G1) Department dated 01.11.2012 and to confer and extend similar benefits to the petitioner with all attendant and consequential benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if the representation referred to above is considered in the light of G.O.Rt.No.229 and order is passed within a stipulated period.

In view of the same, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent to dispose of the representation dated 08.03.2015 in the light of G.O.No.229 referred to above on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
