O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) This Contempt Petition is filed to seek compliance of the order dated 5 November, 2014, passed by this Court in W.P.No.27257 of 2014.

2. Thiru.P.Annamalai, Chairman, State Level Scrutiny Committee, Chennai and Ms.Uma Maheswari, Revenue Divisional officer, Thiruvannamalai are present in Court and submit that they undertake to comply with all the orders of this court in their letter and spirit within the prescribed time as mandated, in future and not to give any occasion to take action against the authorities. In the case on hand, the delay occurred was not with an intention and deliberately, but, on account of some unavoidable circumstances and also the Chairman joining the office recently.

3. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the alleged contemnors submits that the aforestated order passed by this Court is complied with.

4. In view of the above, Contempt Petition is accordingly closed. It is open to the petitioners to challenge the order passed by the second respondent, if so advised, under the provisions of law.
