PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police to conduct the further investigation on the complaint of the petitioner in Crime No.10 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police and file the final report in case within time frame fixed by this Court.

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to conduct the further investigation on the complaint of the petitioner in Crime No.10 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police and file the final report.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.10 of 2021 for the offences under Section 498(A), 354(C), 406 and 506(2) of IPC is going on and the respondent will be able to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
