[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN,J.] This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.27293 of 2013, has taken note of the submission made

by the petitioner herein and modified the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal and directed the respondents to engage the petitioner in the services of the first respondent as a part-time watchman.

2. The respondents herein have filed their counter and took a stand that the practice of appointing part-time watchman has been abolished since 19.07.2011, as per the instructions issued by the Office of the Postmaster General in letter No.REP/83-2/2010 MA dated 18.07.2011 and thereafter, no requirement to the cadre of part-time watchman arises since then.

3. In the light of the stand taken by the respondents in the counter affidavit, no contempt is made out and therefore, the contempt petition is closed.
