ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in the case in Crime No.426 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.
2. The case of the petitioner is that one Dinakaran and his family members have been causing severe trouble to the petitioner's family in order to evict them from their own house and on 20.10.2019, while the petitioner had gone out on work, the said Dinakaran and his son Tharun had abused the petitioner's wife and elder daughter in extremely filthy language and assaulted them with log and hands. Later, when the petitioner enquired the above acts, Dinakaran and his wife assualted and abused the petitioner. They also blocked the way to common gate by throwing down liquor bottles on the doors of the petitioner's house. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.426 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b) and 323 IPC. come up with the present petition for the above stated relief.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.426 of 2019 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
