ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 17.09.2014 and dispose of the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint, even according to the complainant, he had entered into a contract with the opposite party for construction of a flat and that the contract was terminated on 11.07.2014.

Under such circumstances, since the dispute is essentially between a builder and his client, Police cannot be directed to investigate such complaint, as that will lead to abuse of process of law. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
