Respondents Petition filed for the issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent passed in Memo No.20/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 17.01.2018 relating to the detention of Vanji @ Vanjinathan, S/o Sankar @ Sardar Bhai, aged about 31 years, confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The present habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the detention order dated 17.01.2018 passed by the 2nd respondent in and by which the 2nd respondent detained the detenu, Vanji @ Vanjinathan, S/o Sankar @ Sardar Bhai, branding him as a 'Goonda' under Section 3 (1) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 with a view to preventing him from acting prejudicial to the interest of public health and public order.
2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Addl. Public https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that the detention order impugned above has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the order of revocation in G.O. Rt. No.926, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Dept., dated 12.03.2018 is produced before this Court.
3. Recording the said revocation, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
