The Criminal Original Petition is listed today under the caption "for clarification".

2. When the matter came up on 31.03.2023, this Court has granted interstate anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Whereas, even before the order got signed, this Court needing certain clarification directed the Registry to list the matter under the caption "for clarification".

3. This Court, while granting interim interstate anticipatory bail to the petitioner directed him to deposit his original passport before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, at the time of furnishing sureties. However, this Court feels that it may be appropriate for the jurisdictional Court to decide the case on merits. Therefore, the direction in respect of the depositing the original passport of the petitioner shall stands cancelled and the order shall be

read as follows:- " The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 & 120B IPC in Crime No.77 of 2020, on the file of the third respondent, seeks inter-state anticipatory bail.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and a false complaint has been given against him and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence/said allegation. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed upon him. He would also submit that inter-state anticipatory bail may be granted to enable the petitioner to move before the appropriate Jurisdictional Court in Andhra Pradesh, for necessary relief. Hence, he prays for grant of interstate anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the Intervenor would submit that the case is of the year 2020 and the amount involved in this case is more than 43 crores. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the petitioner.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant interim interstate anticipatory bail to the petitioner for a period of four weeks from today to enable the petitioner to move to the concerned Court.

5. Accordingly, interim inter-state anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner for a period of four weeks from today, on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within a period

of four weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner shall approach the competent Court in Andhra Pradesh and seek appropriate relief. If the petitioner fails to furnish sureties, the petition shall automatically stands dismissed.
