ORDER

Today, this matter is listed under the caption "For Reporting Compliance".

2. This Court, vide order dated 13.03.2026 has passed the following directions:

"5. Considering the above submissions, this Court directs the Post Master, Head Post Office, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District, to receive the sum of Rs.3,00,000/- which will be deposited by Thenmozhi, grandmother of the minor child. Deposit to be in the name of minor along with grandmother as guardian and deposit receipt shall be issued without delay. The above process to be completed within a period of one week. The learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to produce the deposit receipt before this Court on 23.03.2026."

3. Pursuant to the above direction, today, a photocopy of the Post Office National (Small) Savings Scheme Passbook in the name of the minor and her grandmother has been produced before this Court, and it is also confirmed that a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- has been deposited in their account, which is not disputed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

4. In view of the above, the Registry is directed to return the original petition filed by the petitioner in support of this petition, to enable him to file the same before the appropriate Court.
