Common Prayer:- The Writ Petitions are filed, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioners dated 15.02.2019.

COMMON ORDER The above Writ Petitions are filed praying to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioners dated 15.02.2019.
2. The Petitioners made representation dated 15.02.2019 to the District Collector, Thiruvallur District, for taking action against the Executive Officer, Town Panchayat, Tiruninravur, for committing the irregularities in sub allotting their Shops to third parties. It is the contention of the Petitioners that, till date, no order has been passed on on the said representation. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that till date, the Petitioners are paying the lease/rent amount for the shops allotted to them, however, the third respondent has not handed over the said shops to the Petitioners but suballotted the same to third parties.
4. Considering the limited scope of the Prayer in the Writ Petitions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent District Collector, Thiruvallur District, is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioners dated 15.02.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
