[Respondent] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to give an appointment as a secondary Grade Teacher in any Government School on the basis of the petitioners marks obtained in the Examination conducted by the respondent on the basis of the representation dated 21.11.2014.

ORDER

The petitioner was a candidate for appointment to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher.

2. According to the petitioner, his certificates were all verified by the Teachers Recruitment Board on 20.01.2014. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondent to give appointment order to the petitioner. The petitioner, therefore, submitted a representation on 21.11.2014 requesting the respondent to issue him appointment order. Since there was no follow up action taken by the respondent, the petitioner was constrained to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

4. The respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21.11.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
