Original Petitions are filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to set aside the Award of the second respondent dated 04.03.2011 passed in A.C.P.(CITI) No.78 of 2010 and A.C.P.(CITI) No.72 of 2010 respectively and for costs.

Mr.s.Vasudevan for R1 COMMON ORDER When these original petitions are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in both cases would submit that the petitioners in O.P.No.296 of 2014 and the first petitioner in O.P.No.297 of 2014 are no more. He further submitted that he has been informed by his counter part that the matter has been settled.
2. This Court is not inclined to keep these matters pending any longer, though the learned counsel for the respondent is not able to confirm the factum of settlement. Inasmuch as the petitioners in O.P.No.296 of 2014 and the first petitioner in O.P.No.297 of 2014 are no more, the petitions stand closed as abated. However, liberty is given to the legal representatives to file appropriate application to restore the original petitions, if they are so advised and in the event of the matter not being settled. No costs.
