Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider his representations dated 08.08.2017 & 17.11.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for issuance of Patta in his favour, in respect of the land in Natham S.No.12 to the extent of 1100 square feet, situated at Alagapuram Village, Palaniyapuri Post, Pethanaickenpalayam Taluk, Salem District.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representations have not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 08.08.2017 & 17.11.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
