This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 11.07.2018 and vide CSR.No.631/2018 dated 11.07.2018.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C pending before the respondent.

4. It is seen that the complaint has been filed by the petitioner before the the respondent police and on receipt of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same they have not taken any steps. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the Court below, the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, has passed a positive direction to the petitioner. Till now, the respondent have not taken any steps. Hence, the present petition.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to register the case as directed by the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.1478 of 2018 by an order dated 08.11.2018, forthwith.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
