ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.31290 of 2016, by order dated 08.09.2016, directed the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2015 seeking regularization of his service, and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks. 2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 08.09.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the petitioner.

4.However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the order in G.O.(2D).No.30, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (TP.1) Department, dated 17.04.2018, submitted that the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents and the request of the petitioner has been positively considered.

5.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
