ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue license to the petitioner for the bunk situated at E.P Link Road, Chinthathiripet, Chennai-2, as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme
and Rules, 2015, based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.S.Gopinathan, learned standing counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the aforesaid representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2026 seeking for issuance of license in his favour for the bunk situated at the address morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme and Rules, 2015, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This court Cs not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs.
