ORDER
Mr. V. Kadhirvelu, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 4. Notice to respondents 5 and 6 is dispensed with at this stage, inasmuch as no order prejudicial to their interest is passed. Thus, with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, who claims to be the wife of K.Jagannathan, the sixth respondent herein, who was serving as Office Assistant in the fourth respondent office, viz., Tahsildar, Kizhpennathur, Tiruvannamalai District and got superannuated on 10.12.2017.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to the sudden demise of the petitioner's brother Seeman, the petitioner's husband was given appointment on compassionate ground; thereafter, the sixth respondent married the petitioner and through their wedlock, they begot two sons and one daughter, viz., Rajasekar, Koteeswaran and Manimegalai; after their marriage, the sixth respondent included the name of the petitioner and their children as legal nominees in his service records; while so, all of a sudden, he did not take care of his family at all; since he has been taking steps to remove the names of his legal nominees, viz., the petitioner and her children, the petitioner has addressed a representation on 14.12.2017 to the respondents 1 to 4 and another representation dated 23.12.
2017 to the fifth respondent, requesting them to include their names, since on an earlier occasion, by creating false impression of getting service benefits, the sixth respondent has obtained the signature of the petitioner and her children in blank papers for removal of their names from the service records; since the said representations are still under consideration, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4, sought time to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2017 within a time frame.
5. Therefore, without going into the merits of the case, this Court finds no impediment to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the the petitioner's pending representation dated 14.12.2017 and pass orders thereon on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
