This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order issued by this Court dated 17.06.2015 in Crl.OP.No.14213 of 2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. Today, Mr.N.Ravikumar, Inspector of Police, C2, Elephant Gate Police Station, Chennai, is present.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the order dated 17.06.2015, passed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.14213 of 2015, police protection was afforded to the petitioner and water connection has also been restored on 03.07.2016. A copy of the letter given by the petitioner dated 03.07.2016, has been submitted to this Court, in which, the petitioner has stated that he has been given police protection and has also got the water connection. A copy of the said letter is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
