ORDER
By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though her services as unskilled worker came to be regularised as early as on 31.03.1999 vide proceedings of the Joint Director of Industries and Commerce [Chemicals] in-charge, Guindy, Chennai-32, dated 20.12.2001 and that her probation was also successfully declared by the very same official on 28.12.2001, she is languishing in the same post without any promotion for years together and in this regard, she submitted a representation dated 28.11.2015 to the respondents and though it was received and acknowledged, so far no orders have been passed and therefore, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
