PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to produce the person or body of the detune (petitioner's wife) P.Sooriya aged about 22 years before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] Petitioner, who is the husband of detenue herein, viz., P.Sooriya, aged 22 years, has filed this petition seeking production of his wife.
2. We have heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. Petitioner is present. The respondent police have produced the detenue viz., P.Sooriya. Her father is also present. On enquiry, she admits to having married the petitioner and that 10 days after marriage, through the offices of the 3rd respondent with whom her father had preferred a complaint, she had returned to her parental home. She informs her intent to continue her in the care and custody of her parents. We have also spoken to petitioner and informed him the position.
4. In the circumstances, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
