O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the Counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents as follows:- "In this regard the eligible pension arrears of Rs.6,06,489/- out of this amount a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- was paid through ECS on 23.11.2017. The Balance amount of Rs.5,06,489/- will be paid in two installments one on 23.12.2017 for a sum of Rs.2,53,245/-and the other installment will be on 23.01.2018 for a sum of Rs.2,53,244/-(Rupees two lakhs fifty three thousand two hundred and forty four only) to the petitioners Bank Account."

2.Further it is stated by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents that as per the affidavit filed, the balance amount will be settled in two installments to the petitioner's bank account. In view of the affidavit filed by the respondents in this regard, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs. 30.11.2017
