These Applications have been filed in relation to the order passed in O.P.No.592 of 2022, whereby Letters of Administration with Will annexed were ordered to be issued in favour of the petitioners, subject to execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- in favour of the Assistant Registrar (O.S.), High Court, Madras. In A.No.1514 of 2026, the first applicant/petitioner seeks permission to accept the power to execute the bond for letters of administration in the above OP No.592 of 2022 on behalf of third and fourth petitioner and also, in A. No. 1515 of 2026, the applicant seeks
extension of time to execute the bond for Letters of Administration in the above O.P.No.592 of 2022.

The affidavit filed in support of the applications states that the third petitioner is residing abroad and the fourth petitioner is also unable to appear before this Court for execution of the security bond, and therefore they have executed the Deeds of Power of Attorney in favour of the first petitioner authorising her to represent them and to execute the bond on their behalf. It is further stated that the said Power of Attorney deeds are still valid and in force.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, in view of the inability of the third and fourth petitioners to appear in person, the Power of Attorney deeds may be accepted and the first petitioner may be permitted to execute the security bond on their behalf also.
5. No objection is stated on the side of the respondents.
6. Having regard to the averments contained in the affidavits and in view of the fact that the Power of Attorney deeds are valid and subsisting, and also considering that no objection is raised by the respondents, this Court is satisfied that both the applications can be allowed.
7.Accordingly, these Applications are allowed. The Deeds of Power of Attorney dated 22.01.2026 and 10.10.2025 executed by the third and fourth petitioners in favour of the first petitioner are accepted for the limited purpose of compliance with the order passed in O.P.No.592 of 2022. The first petitioner is permitted to execute the security bond for herself and also on behalf of the third and fourth petitioners, in favour of the Assistant Registrar (O.S.), High Court, Madras, subject to compliance with the usual Office formalities.
