Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider her representations dated 14.06.2017 & 25.07.2017, wherein and whereby she sought for survey of the land bearing Survey No.653/1, 653/7 measuring 82.50 acres and 65.60 acres respectively situated at Thedavur Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representations have not been considered so far. At this stage, this Court, is not expressing any view on the merits of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017 & 25.07.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
