O R D E R

The prayer is for a mandamus directing the Special Principal Secretary-cum-Commissioner for Revenue Administration/R2 to dispose the Statutory Appeal filed by the petitioner on 23.12.2023 against cancellation of gun licence in terms of Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. 2.Mr.G.Nanmaran, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents would have no objection for issuance of mandamus as prayed for.

3.Hence, R2 is directed to dispose the Statutory Appeal filed on 23.12.2023 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner and in accordance with law.

4.This writ petition stands disposed in terms of the above order. No costs.
