O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.

3.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that on the complaint given by one Nethra against the petitioners, petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.210 of 2018 on the file of the respondent.

4.In such view of the matter, the petitioners are directed to cooperate with the police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioners shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.

5.Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the 1st petitioner met with an accident and is undergoing treatment. This may be borne in mind by the respondent while conducting the enquiry.
