The petitioner claims to be the owner of the superstructure in Survey No.12/1A, 12/1C and 12/2 in No.13, Vathiyar Village, Kancheepuram Taluk and District. He submitted an application, dated 13.04.2015 to the respondent, praying for transfer of Electricity Service connection, and would further contend that patta was also transferred in his name.

It is the grievance expressed by the petitioner that, since no orders have been passed on the said application, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Samadharma Arasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Gunaraj, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Court, taking into consideration, the limited scope of the prayer sought for, by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the petitioner's application, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation, dated 13.04.2015, in accordance with law, after putting notice to the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
