ORDER

Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ooty to expedite the trial in C.C.No.234 of 2005 pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Ooty on day to day basis and dispose the case within a stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. 3.It appears that out of 83 witnesses cited in the final report, 68 witnesses have been examined by the prosecution. It is also represented that five of the accused had died in the mean time. 4.Under such circumstances, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ooty is directed to expedite the trial in C.C.No.234 of 2005 and complete within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
