ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation sent by the petitioner dated 10.01.2022 and 01.03.2022, requesting them to take action against the respondents 5 to 7, who draw the water from the Bhavani river, illegally by erecting pipe lines and selling the same to the farmers in Periyakulam area.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Considering the narrow scope of the prayer made in the writ petition, without going into the merits of matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2022 and 01.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law as early as possible, after providing opportunity to the respondents 5 to 7 as well all the interested parties.

4. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected WMP Nos.23747, 23748, 23749, 28152 of 2024 closed.
