ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the 2nd respondent to hold and complete the enquiry in the proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.9233/2012/C3 dated 26.9.2012.

2. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that she made an application, challenging the cancellation of patta. The Tahsildar though conducted an enquiry on 11.10.2012, had not passed any orders. Thus, the petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition.

3. The enquiry notice dated 26.09.2012 issued by the Tahsildar, Ambattur reveals that an enquiry was held on 11.10.2012. However, no final order has been passed for the past about 10 years. 2/4

4. Pertinently, the Tahsildar, Ambattur has not filed any counter affidavit in the present writ petition for about 10 years.

5. This being the factum, the Tahsildar/ 2nd respondent is directed to pass final orders on the application submitted by the writ petitioner within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if no order has been passed already.

6. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
