O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 4th respondent to consider the representation dated 27.09.2021 and consequently directing the respondents authorities concerned to issue the Patta, pertaining in Survey No.85/1, 85/3 to an extent of 5 acres at Venmalagaram Village, Sirumayulur Post, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents takes notice for the official respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is ex-service man and land less poor. The petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the land in Survey Nos.85/1, 85/3, measuring to an extent of 5 acres, situated at Venmalagaram Village, Sirumayulur Post, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. The petitioner sent several representations to the Revenue Authorities for issuance of Patta, under Ex Serviceman category, however, the respondents have not taken any steps. The petitioner made an application on 09.06.2021, before the 1st respondent and the 4th respondent forward the same to the 5th respondent as well as the Revenue Divisional Officer vide its letter dated 09.08.2021. However, till date no orders have been passed to implement the order dated 09.08.2021. Therefore, the petitioner made another representation dated 27.09.2021 before the 4th respondent, however, till date no action has been taken by the 4th respondent. Hence, this writ petition is filed with the above said prayer.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issue a direction to the 5th respondent to implement the letter dated 09.08.2021 issued by the 4th respondent and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a reasonable time that may be fixed by this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the 5th respondent will implement the proceedings in the letter Oo.Mu.8730/2021/Aa3 dated 09.08.2021 issued by the 4th respondent and appropriate
orders will be passed in accordance with law within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order before the 5th respondent. On receipt of the same, the 5th respondent is directed to consider the same in the light of the Letter No.Oo.Mu.8730/ 2021/ Aa3 dated 09.08.2021 passed by the 4th respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to the aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
7. With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
